My first time trying almond nails was both exciting and a bit challenging, especially in maintaining their shape. One important part of the process was using a 36W LED light lamp to cure the gel polish effectively, which ensures a long-lasting and glossy finish. The specific lamp I used was a rechargeable edition, making it convenient for at-home manicures without being tethered to a power outlet. During maintenance day, keeping the nails smooth and evenly shaped was crucial to prevent any chips or cracks. I found that filing the nails gently from the sides towards the center helps maintain the almond curve without over-thinning. Another tip is to apply a nourishing cuticle oil before and after the curing process to keep the skin hydrated and healthy. Documenting the entire process on my mini vlog helped me realize the subtle steps that make a big difference in the nail’s durability and aesthetic. For anyone considering almond nails for the first time, I recommend investing in a quality LED nail lamp and taking your time shaping each nail precisely. This maintenance routine enhanced not only the look but also the strength of my nails, giving me confidence to sport this chic shape in daily life.
