Look at the past
Kept thinking about how I lost 27lbs when I line danced almost everyday, but then I moved and they don’t do it around here. Went into my health tab on my iPhone and looked at what my heart rate was back when I danced to see what my target is. So when I go to the gym now and do cardio I aim for the same heart rate.
Line dancing can be an enjoyable way to stay fit while losing weight. It not only provides cardio benefits but also enhances coordination and rhythm. If you've lost access to dance groups, consider online classes or local dance workshops to keep the momentum going. Additionally, using fitness tracking apps can help monitor your heart rate effectively. As you return to the gym, aim to stay within your target heart rate range—typically 50-85% of your maximum heart rate—for optimal fat burning and cardiovascular benefits. Staying active, whether through dance or gym workouts, keeps your heart healthy and supports weight management. Don't forget to blend different types of exercise, including strength training and flexibility, to create a well-rounded fitness program that maintains your interest and commitment. Regular physical activity is essential for both physical and mental well-being, making it crucial to find activities that you enjoy.
