These meetings should be collaborative rather than punitive, allowing for open dialogue about obstacles and support needed. Moreover, leading by example is powerful; when leaders hold themselves accountable, it sets a standard others are more likely to follow. In some cases, providing tools or training can address skill gaps that hinder accountability. Also, fostering a culture of trust encourages people to admit mistakes and learn from them rather than hide shortcomings.
