NYE party on the Queen Mary 🚢
my boyfriend took me to a NYE party on the Queen Mary and it was one of the most romantic and truly magical nights of my life.
everyone was dressed up all fancy and I was living for it!! I chose to wear a dress that I specifically looked online for that was visually reminiscent of Rose Dewitt Bukater's famous "jump" dress from the movie Titanic.
We each got complimentary drinks, he got a whiskey sour and I got champagne. There was a big dance floor on the top deck and to our delight, they were playing 80s pop songs so we danced and danced. then we decided to explore the ship together and we went on just about every level, hallway and room we could access... including the one with all the models of the ships from White Star Line. so fun!
then we went to admire the full moon and it was so big and orange you'd think it was Halloween! the city lights of Long Beach reflected on the ocean water and it was so beautiful. soon after, the fireworks started. Then we went back to dance some more and we were there for the big countdown to the new year, and we kissed at midnight and watched the fireworks. what a perfect way to start the new year. I'm such a lucky girl to have a classy man who takes me to these places and loves to do such fun things with me, I couldn't imagine a more perfect boyfriend. 💙
