Hey beauties! So many of you asked about my full clear skin journey, especially since I mentioned my combo, acne-prone skin that occasionally gets breakouts and those annoying dark spots. Getting clear skin isn't just about one magical product; it's about a consistent, well-thought-out routine. I'm excited to dive deeper into the exact steps I follow, and trust me, it's easier than you think! My daily skincare routine for acne and dark spots is split into morning and evening, each serving a crucial purpose. Morning Routine for Clear, Protected Skin: Gentle Cleanse: I start with a mild foaming cleanser or just a splash of water. You don't want to strip your skin, especially if it's sensitive! Treatment (Optional): If I have an active breakout, I might apply a targeted spot treatment. For acne, a salicylic acid treatment can be a game-changer, exfoliating inside the pore. Moisturize: Hydration is key! Look for a lightweight, non-comedogenic moisturizer to maintain your skin barrier. SPF – Non-Negotiable! This is perhaps the most important step for preventing dark spots from worsening and protecting your skin. Find a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ that feels good on your skin. If you're using active ingredients, your skin will be more sun-sensitive, so don't skip this! Evening Routine for Treatment & Repair: Double Cleansing – My Holy Grail! This is where the magic happens. I start with a cleansing oil to melt away makeup and sunscreen without stripping. Then, I follow up with a gentle foaming cleanser to ensure my skin is sparkling clean. This double cleansing method is a game-changer for clear skin routine steps. Targeted Treatments: This is where I really focus on my concerns. Acne Treatment: If I'm dealing with breakouts, I'll apply my salicylic acid treatment. It works overnight to decongest pores. Dark Spot Treatment: This is where my azelaic acid suspension comes in. Azelaic acid is incredible for reducing inflammation, fighting acne-causing bacteria, and fading post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (dark spots) without causing excessive irritation. It’s great for sensitive skin! I apply a thin layer to areas with dark spots. Moisturize: After treatments, I lock everything in with a slightly richer moisturizer than my morning one, supporting my skin's natural repair process overnight. Tips for Sensitive & Acne-Prone Skin: If you have sensitive skin, introduce new products slowly and patch test them first. Avoid harsh scrubs or alcohol-based toners, which can compromise your skin barrier. Always look for products labeled "non-comedogenic." Consistency is more important than using a million products at once. Beyond the Bottle: Remember, skincare isn't just about products. Staying hydrated, eating well, changing your pillowcases regularly, and managing stress can also significantly contribute to achieving that clear, radiant complexion. I hope this deeper dive into my skincare routine steps helps you on your journey to clear skin, free from acne and dark spots! What are your go-to products or tips for keeping breakouts at bay?

I am wanting to buy the ordinary but I just don’t want to buy something that’s so expensive I would buy a dupe or if it really helps then that.
