Best gym friendly perfumes🤭

There is a time and place for different kinds of perfumes! There’s so many perfumes out there that definitely fit the vibe for different occasions. When I go to the gym I want to smell fresh, fruity or even floral. When you’re going to be hot and sweaty you definitely don’t want to mix that with a perfume that can make you nauseous !👀

My gym picks:

- sdj 68

- Ellis Brooklyn guava

- the harmonist sacred water

- Versace Crystal Nior

Let me know if you like any of these perfumes!🤭💗

... Read moreBeyond just picking a scent, choosing the right way to wear perfume to the gym can make all the difference! I’ve learned a few tricks that really help me stay fresh without overwhelming anyone around me. **Why Certain Notes Just Work for Workouts: When you’re active, your body temperature rises, making scents project more strongly. That’s why I always lean towards notes that feel clean and uplifting: Bright & Zesty (Citrus): Think citron found in The Harmonist Sacred Water. These notes cut through any potential staleness and instantly energize. They don't get cloying when mixed with sweat. Sweet & Juicy (Fruity): Pink Dragonfruit from Sol de Janeiro 68 or Guava Juice and Banana in Ellis Brooklyn Guava are perfect examples. These provide a natural, lively sweetness that isn't heavy. They evoke a sense of vigor and playfulness. Light & Airy (Florals): Delicate florals like Brazilian Jasmine (Sol de Janeiro 68) or magnolia (The Harmonist) are fantastic. They offer a gentle, feminine touch without being overpowering. Even a hint of Gardenia like in Versace Crystal Noir, when blended with lighter notes, can be beautiful. Subtle Warmth: While I generally avoid heavy, musky, or overly spicy scents for the gym, a touch of Sheer Vanilla (Sol de Janeiro 68) or Amber (Versace Crystal Noir) can add a comforting base, as long as it's not the dominant note. The key is balance! My Top Tips for Applying Gym Fragrances: Less is ALWAYS More:** This isn't the time for a heavy sillage. One or two spritzes on pulse points before you leave home is usually enough. Remember, as you warm up, the scent will naturally intensify. Targeted Application: Instead of spraying all over, focus on areas like your wrists, behind your ears, or even the back of your neck. Some people like a light mist on their clothes, but be careful with certain fabrics! Consider Body Mists & Hair Mists: Sometimes, a dedicated perfume can feel too much. Body mists (like the Sol de Janeiro 68) or hair mists are often lighter and designed for a gentler, all-over freshness. They're amazing for a quick refresh without being intrusive. Layering Lightly: If you have a matching deodorant or body lotion, using those in the same scent family can create a longer-lasting, subtle aroma without needing a lot of perfume. I often find this works better than just spraying more perfume. Gym Perfume Etiquette – Be Considerate! It’s super important to be mindful of others. Not everyone enjoys strong scents, and some people have allergies. The goal isn't to make a statement with your perfume; it's to feel good about your personal freshness. A good rule of thumb: if you can smell yourself strongly, others definitely can too! By choosing the right notes and applying them strategically, you can absolutely enjoy your favorite fragrances even during your toughest workouts. It’s all about enhancing your personal comfort and confidence!
