... Read moreMy journey towards truly flourishing in Christ has been one of deep reflection and, honestly, a lot of learning to let go. Like many of us, I've often wondered, "How do I move past just surviving and actually thrive in my faith?" This question led me to some profound FAITH & REFLECTION NOTES I want to share, hoping they resonate with you too. One of the biggest lessons has been to truly TRUST FAITH LEAVE IT IN GOD HANDS! It sounds simple, but it’s a daily practice. I’ve realized that flourishing isn't about everything being perfect, but about how we navigate the imperfections with God. There are times when it feels like I'm *losing things to find life*, letting go of old habits or expectations that were actually holding me back. It’s in these moments of surrender that I’ve witnessed God's restoration in unexpected ways, bringing new growth and perspective. Life throws curveballs, and I've certainly experienced *flourishing through shaking and losses*. It’s easy to feel defeated, but I've learned the importance of engaging with problems rather than running from them. This doesn't mean I have all the answers, but it means I bring my anxieties and questions to God, actively seeking His guidance. Waiting for His comfort isn't always easy; sometimes it requires immense patience, but His peace always arrives, often exactly when I need it most. I used to dread uncomfortable situations, but a recent realization for me has been that pain as healing is a real thing. It’s in those moments of discomfort that growth often happens. I've been practicing *praying in uncomfortable situations*, and it's transformative. Instead of panicking, I turn inward and upward, finding a quiet strength I didn't know I possessed. It reminds me of *Isaiah 43:2*, which speaks of walking through fire and not being burned. It’s a powerful image of God's presence with us, even in the most intense trials. And then there's the incredible concept of *mustard seed faith*. I used to think I needed monumental faith to see big changes, but reflecting on Matthew 17:20-21 changed my perspective. It's not about the size of our faith, but the object of it. Even a tiny bit of genuine faith in a big God can move mountains in our lives. For me, this means consistently showing up, even when my faith feels small, and believing that God can do the impossible. It's the power of mustard seed faith in action – taking small steps of trust daily. These reflections have truly helped me understand what it means to *flourish in Christ*. It's an ongoing journey of learning to trust more deeply, embrace challenges as opportunities, and lean on God's promises. I've found that journaling my FAITH & REFLECTION NOTES helps solidify these truths in my heart. Sharing these insights with a community of sisters in Christ has also been invaluable, reminding me that we're all on this path together, encouraging each other to bloom where we're planted, trusting that God holds our hands through it all.
