Each color represents different nutrients and antioxidants that play unique roles in supporting your body’s functions. For instance, orange foods like carrots and sweet potatoes are rich in beta-carotene which supports eye health and immunity. White foods such as garlic and onions contain compounds that may boost heart health and reduce inflammation. Yellow foods like peppers and bananas offer vitamin C and potassium to aid metabolism and muscle function. Green foods, including spinach and broccoli, are packed with fiber, vitamins, and minerals essential for digestion and detoxification. Red foods such as tomatoes and berries are rich in lycopene and antioxidants which help fight oxidative stress. Purple foods like eggplants and grapes contain anthocyanins that support brain health and reduce inflammation. Brown foods, including nuts and whole grains, are great sources of fiber and essential minerals for sustained energy and gut health. From personal experience, eating a colorful, varied diet has been transformative: it helped improve my energy levels and supported my fitness goals during my body transformation journey. Choosing to eat 'your colors' made meals more enjoyable and fulfilling. To start, try adding at least one different-colored fruit or vegetable to each meal and notice the positive changes in your overall wellbeing.
