Public Bathroom

Does anyone else do this ? I have to put at least three rounds of tissue and then I go in with one round of paper towel🤣 is this too much ? You HAVE to be cautious and careful because you never know🤷🏾‍♀️

Even though I don’t sit on it but it’s extra precaution unless I have to really sit. These toilet seat covers are from Shein and I keep them in my bag at all times.

I always recommend carrying flushable toilet seat covers, like the biodegradable wood pulp ones from Shein mentioned here, as they provide a convenient and eco-friendly barrier between you and the seat. Adding multiple layers of tissue before placing the seat cover creates an additional protective cushion that makes sitting more comfortable and reduces contact with germs. Another habit I've found helpful is to keep some paper towels handy for wiping surfaces like toilet handles or sink taps. Public restrooms vary widely in cleanliness, so being prepared can make a big difference. Remember to always wash your hands thoroughly with soap afterward to eliminate any bacteria picked up during your visit. Importantly, while it might seem like using extra tissue is excessive, this cautious approach pays off by minimizing exposure to bacteria or viruses often lurking on commonly touched surfaces. Carrying these hygiene essentials in your bag ensures you're ready no matter where you are. These small, consistent precautions not only protect your health but also make the experience of using public bathrooms less stressful. It’s all about balancing hygiene with convenience so you can feel confident and safe every time.
