Planner sheet for therapy, gratitude and more.

I love how this worksheet looks at both positive and negative thoughts. Sometimes worksheets only focus on the negative which still can be helpful but lets us forget that our brain 🧠 does have some positive too! I also like how you can see patterns when you list emotions and thoughts! It may be good to look at some behaviors or things you did that day too!

How do you express your emotions or recognize them?

When do you focus on journaling/planning ?

It helps you gain a balanced perspective by acknowledging the full spectrum of your emotions, which is essential because our brains naturally focus on negativity more than positivity. This worksheet encourages reflection on not only your feelings but also the behaviors and actions that contribute to your mental state, helping you recognize patterns that might otherwise go unnoticed. Incorporating prompts like "What made me feel good today?" alongside identifying negative thoughts allows you to practice gratitude and positivity while addressing challenges. Small goals for the next day provide actionable steps to improve your mood and productivity, fostering a growth mindset. Many people find journaling and planning helpful during moments of reflection, such as morning routines, winding down at night, or even mid-day mental resets. Expressing emotions through writing or planning can increase emotional intelligence, improve self-awareness, and reduce stress. A famous reminder included in some worksheet designs, like the quote from Dr. Seuss — "When you stop and look around, this life is pretty amazing" — serves as an uplifting cue to appreciate life’s positives, promoting self-love and resilience. Whether used as part of therapy, gratitude practice, or daily self-care, this approach helps cultivate a healthier mindset and a more mindful, intentional life.

This seems like a great add to a nightly routine. It recognizes the bad but doesn’t dwell, by encouraging what changes can be made tomorrow.
