Valentines easy recipes ❤️ non-vegan&vegan 30 mins

Okay I am by no means a 👩‍🍳. Sometimes I make a lot of mistakes when making things, but I saw this recipe I needed to try it and it actually came out pretty good.

Warning: I just used what I have around, are these things exactly the cutouts you should use .. probably not lol my cut outs are for custom uncrustables not an actual cookie cutter but it still worked!

Here is what I used:

Store-bought crust

Shredded mozzarella cheese blend

Pizza sauce- Roa only for me

Small pepperoni slices

Mozzarella slices

Mini heart cutters and a small one for the pizza shape (came in the pack of the uncrustable kit 🤷‍♀️)

How to make:

1. Using your 3" heart cookie cutter stamp out pizza crust into mini heart pizza crusts. (No one is actually measuring, use what you have, and that big boi on the side still tasted good js)

2. Preheat oven to 400 degrees, place baking sheet with parchment paper, cut out your crust into heart shapes, still use the rest of the dough for a big crust on the side (don’t have to but why waste it) and then pre bake your crust! 8-10 minutes no ingredients, it will say on the side of the can but just in case please do this!

3. Spoon a couple of spoonfuls of sauce onto the crust.

4. Sprinkle top with shredded mozzarella cheese.

Add 3-4 mini pepperoni hearts on top.

5. Bake your mini pizzas for 10-12 minutes in a preheated 400 degree oven or until cheese is melted and bubbly.

5. Immediately after pulling out of the oven, add 3-3 mini cheese hearts so they can melt from the residual heat but still keep their shape.

... Read moreWhen it comes to celebrating Valentine’s Day with food, simplicity and charm often win the day. I recently tried making these mini heart-shaped pizzas using store-bought crust and a blend of cheeses, and I was pleasantly surprised by how easy and satisfying the process was. One thing I learned during my experiment was the flexibility in using kitchen tools—you don’t necessarily need an official heart-shaped cookie cutter. I used small cutters originally meant for uncrustables, which made shaping the crust fun and approachable without fancy equipment. This really lowered the bar for home cooks who want to make something special but don’t want to spend too long prepping. For the cheese, I opted for a shredded mozzarella blend that included provolone, asiago, parmesan, romano, and fontina cheeses. This mix brings a unique Italian-style flavor that elevates the simple mini pizzas to something truly tasty. As an alternative, layering mozzarella slices on top adds that classic melt and stretch effect everyone loves. For those who prefer a vegan version, I checked out a recommended vegan recipe guide to swap out the cheese and pepperoni with plant-based alternatives. Vegan mozzarella melts beautifully, and there are many flavorful vegan pepperoni options. The key is ensuring you prebake the crust to avoid sogginess, especially with the moisture in vegan cheeses and sauces. I found that baking at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for about 10-12 minutes gave the crust just the right crispness and the cheese a bubbly, golden finish. Adding some fresh mini cheese hearts immediately after baking lets them melt slightly from residual heat, resulting in a delightful texture contrast. This kind of recipe is perfect for those who aren’t confident chefs but still want to impress loved ones with a cute, homemade meal. With ingredients commonly found in most kitchens and a forgiving method, it takes the stress out of Valentine’s cooking. For anyone interested, I highly recommend experimenting with different cheeses, sauces, and toppings to suit your taste—whether you’re dairy-free or a meat lover. It’s a fun project that adds a personal touch to your Valentine’s Day celebrations without demanding hours in the kitchen.
