Do you wear a different deodorant during the summer?☀️
It's summer, which means it's time for me to switch back to my favorite aluminum deodorant. ☀️
Does anyone else change their deodorant routine with the seasons?
During the cooler months, I stick to my favorite combo: Arm & Hammer Essentials paired with The Ordinary Glycolic Acid. It works perfectly when temperatures are mild. They work just great separately as well!
But once it starts hitting 85°F and above, I need something stronger. That's when I reach for my handy dandy Donna Karan Cashmere Mist.💁🏾♀️ It keeps me completely dry and smells absolutely beautiful! It's become my go-to summer deodorant, and I stay sweat-free even on the hottest days.
What's your favorite deodorant for summer?
Changing deodorants with the seasons has truly been a game-changer for me. I've found that what works well in cooler weather isn’t always effective when the temperature climbs. For example, during spring and fall, I rely on products like Arm & Hammer Essentials and exfoliating toners containing glycolic acid. The acidic properties help keep my underarms fresh and exfoliated, reducing odor without harsh chemicals. However, when summer arrives and heat and humidity soar past 85°F, I need something more robust to combat sweat. That’s why I switch to Donna Karan Cashmere Mist deodorant in the hottest months. This anti-perspirant stick effectively controls sweat and offers a luxurious scent that lasts all day long. The aluminum-based formula blocks sweat glands, which is perfect for staying dry during long, hot days or outdoor activities. I appreciate that it also has a smooth texture that glides on comfortably without irritation. If you’re considering a seasonal deodorant switch, look for a product with aluminum for summer to help minimize sweating, and choose gentle, natural deodorants or those with exfoliating ingredients like glycolic acid during cooler months for sensitive skin. This approach has helped me avoid irritation and stay confident year-round. Also, don't forget to moisturize your underarms regularly and test new deodorants in a small area first, especially if you have sensitive skin. Summer deodorants with added fragrances like rosemary and lavender can boost freshness but might not be suitable for everyone’s skin type. Do you have a favorite summer deodorant that works wonders in the heat? I'd love to hear your recommendations and tips for staying fresh and dry during the hot season!
