RING UPDATE! He took me to the jeweler 💍

As you know, I accidentally found my engagement ring, posted about it, and took your advice of simply having a conversation with Steve! After he proposed, I told him how I was feeling. I was so nervous bc of the conflicting comments so obviously I overreacted as if I was in the wrong and turns out, he said I should have came to him (his response is on the last ring post)
He already scheduled a sit down with the jeweler because he said, he knows me and knew it wouldn’t be the one I wanted. Y’all, this man really knew me enough to know that I’d ask him to go back to the jeweler lol
Anyway, we got there and the jeweler was so sweet and understanding, and showed me three different rings that Steve already set aside for when we’d come back. It really blows my mind how this man knows me & had everything set up!

She had me try on both rings on my finger and the craziest thing happened. I no longer wanted it. YES THE ONE I WAS COMPLAINING I WANTED, I DIDNT WANT IT ANYMORE 🫠😅
After hearing his reasons as to why he chose the one he chose and proposed with, my dream ring suddenly became dull and no longer my dream ring. The ring my fiancé gifted me was shining brighter than the sun compared to the one I wanted, & it wasn’t bc it cost more, it was bc I felt the love radiating through it as he held my hand.
So I stayed with the original 🙈
To not waste a perfectly good trip to the jeweler, we decided to look into men rings and we found one he really liked so I brought it for him 🩷💍 it arrives in 3 weeks!
I know it’s common for only the woman to wear an engagement ring but he deserves to have one too bc it’s his engagement as much as it’s my engagement!
He thinks I’m going to just hand him the box but I think I want to do a big proposal the way he did for me bc he deserves it!

People are being so rude…. Honestly ur going to wear your ring forever and you want it to look nice. My ring broke that he got me and so I got my dream ring. It was going to be the ring we were going to get and he asked me and I did like it but it broke
