leg day
man, my legs are sore. Had a great session with my personal trainer today. Leg extensions, glutes, hamstrings, and inner thigh. I'm surprised I can even walk right now and that i don't have jello legs. time to head home and study because i am thinking of becoming a personal trainer. Also, I have some exciting news I found out last week that sincie I started working with a Personal Tainer back in June, I have lost a little over 13 lbs of fat off my body and I couldn't be happier. #legday #weightlostjourney
Wow, I'm still feeling that leg day burn from my session today! It's that satisfying kind of sore, you know? My personal trainer really pushed me with those leg extensions, glutes, hamstrings, and inner thigh exercises. If you’re anything like me, you sometimes wonder how you’ll even make it up the stairs after a good leg workout. So, I wanted to share a few things that have really helped me manage the soreness and keep showing up. First off, recovery is just as important as the workout itself. I used to just push through, but now I make sure to properly stretch after each session. Dynamic stretches before, static stretches after. And hydration! I can't stress enough how much water helps. I also swear by a warm bath with Epsom salts; it feels like magic for those aching muscles. Sometimes, I even treat myself to a gentle foam rolling session, focusing on my quads and hamstrings. It hurts so good! It’s all about listening to your body and giving it what it needs to rebuild stronger. Speaking of strength, I'm still buzzing from the news about my weight loss journey! Losing over 13 lbs of fat since June has been incredible, and honestly, a huge motivator. It wasn't just about showing up for leg day, though. My trainer helped me understand that nutrition plays a massive role. I started focusing on whole foods, increasing my protein intake, and being more mindful of portion sizes. It’s not a strict diet, but rather sustainable changes. For example, I’ve swapped out sugary drinks for water and herbal teas, and I try to incorporate more colorful veggies into every meal. Consistency has been key – even on days when I didn't feel like it, I'd still try to get some movement in, whether it was a brisk walk outdoors or a quick home workout. Seeing those numbers go down and feeling my clothes fit better has been so rewarding. This whole experience has actually sparked something significant in me: I’m seriously thinking about becoming a personal trainer! After seeing the positive impact my trainer has had on my life, both physically and mentally, I feel inspired to help others achieve their fitness goals too. I’ve started doing some research into certifications, like NASM or ACE, and what’s involved in the coursework. It seems like a big step, but the idea of guiding someone through their own journey, celebrating their wins, and helping them overcome challenges truly excites me. Imagine being able to empower someone to feel as strong and confident as I’m starting to feel. It’s a dream that’s slowly turning into a goal. I'm excited to see where this new path takes me and can’t wait to share more as I delve deeper into studying. It’s definitely a new chapter in my fitness story! It's amazing how much my perspective has changed. A few months ago, I was just trying to get through my workouts. Now, I'm looking at fitness not just as a personal challenge, but as a potential career. And knowing all the progress I’ve made, like that 13 lbs of fat loss, gives me confidence that I can really make a difference. What are your thoughts on becoming a PT? Have any of you taken the leap?
