15 Week Checkup
Today, Princess went to her 15-week checkup at the vets. She weighed 14lbs and was very brave as she got three shots. She was very sleepy the rest of the day 🥰
At 15 weeks, it's vital to ensure your pet's health is monitored closely. Routine checkups typically include assessments of weight, vaccinations, and overall well-being. During this stage, pets may receive their core vaccinations protecting against diseases such as parvovirus and distemper. It's also a great time to discuss nutritional needs and behavioral development with your vet. Remember, a healthy pet leads to a happy life! Always keep an eye on your pet's energy levels and monitor any reactions after vaccinations, as it’s common for them to feel sleepy or lethargic for a day or two. Consult your veterinarian if you have any concerns regarding your pet's recovery or health changes after their checkup. Regular veterinary visits not only help in early detection of potential health issues but also strengthen the bond between you and your furry friend. Staying informed about your pet's health as they grow will contribute to a long and fulfilling life together.
