Cocoyo Peach Nectarine Review

My first time trying cocoyo after this coconut yogurt craze and it’s pretty good! But would i get this all the time? Probably not. I’ll try the vanilla flavor though and maybe also coconut cult to see the difference 🤗🥥 #coconut #cocoyo yogurt #health

... Read moreOkay, so I finally jumped on the coconut yogurt craze and picked up a jar of Cocoyo Peach Nectarine. I've been hearing a lot about Cocoyo raw coconut yogurt and its probiotic benefits, especially as someone trying to incorporate more vegan options into my diet. The packaging immediately caught my eye – a lovely jar promising Thai coconuts and a whopping 200 billion probiotics per serving, plus only 4g sugar. It's pretty impressive for a health-conscious snack! When I first opened it, I noticed the beautiful peach color, as you'd expect from a peach nectarine flavor. The texture was sour and runny, definitely different from traditional dairy yogurts or even some thicker coconut alternatives I’ve had. It poured rather than scooped, which might be a surprise if you're used to something firmer. The smell was faintly tropical with a hint of peach, inviting enough to dig in. Taste-wise, it was… interesting. The base Thai coconut flavor is quite distinct, giving it a natural tang that complements the sour aspect. The peach flavor was okay, not overwhelmingly sweet or artificial, which I appreciate. It felt more like a subtle fruity note rather than a strong, juicy peach burst. It’s definitely a healthier option, especially with 90 calories per serving and the 4g sugar content being so low. Knowing it's packed with 100 billion to 200 billion probiotics makes it feel like a truly beneficial choice for gut health. After finishing the jar, I'd give it an 8/10 rating overall. While it was pretty good, would I get this Cocoyo coconut yogurt all the time? Probably not as my go-to. The sour and runny texture might not be for everyone, and I personally prefer something a bit thicker for a yogurt. However, if you're seriously into raw coconut yogurt, appreciate a less sweet profile, and prioritize high probiotic counts, this is definitely a solid contender. It’s perfect for a smoothie base or mixed with granola if you want to add some crunch and balance the texture. My next mission is to try the vanilla flavor of Cocoyo to see how it compares, hoping for a slightly different experience. I'm also really curious about Coconut Cult now, as I hear it's another popular vegan coconut yogurt probiotic brand. It's all about finding that perfect balance of taste, texture, and health benefits, especially in the world of dairy-free alternatives. This Cocoyo Peach Nectarine was a good start to exploring living coconut yogurt options!

Tried the peach first a few weeks ago and didn’t love it. Just tried the vanilla and it’s delish! Only thing is I just realized it has actually 2 billion probiotics, isn’t that way too much?
