Thanksgiving Break
I have been enjoying my Thanksgiving break! We had a family Bible study on Obedience, baked together, and watched movies. I was able to get ahead on some designing for the shop too!
I am so excited to share the new scripture writing plan for 2026. My Patrons and I put it together and so far the design process of it has been amazing. It’s way different than previous years!
I hope you all have been spending quality time and relaxing during this break as well. The only additional thing I need to catch up on is journaling lol.
Thanksgiving break is a wonderful opportunity to pause, reflect, and enjoy time with loved ones while nurturing both the body and spirit. Many families choose to use this special time not only for relaxation but also for engaging in meaningful activities that strengthen bonds and encourage personal growth. A popular way to enrich the holiday season is through family Bible studies. Focusing on themes such as obedience can provide a shared foundation for discussions, helping each family member understand faith principles and how to apply them in daily life. These sessions can facilitate deep conversations about values and foster a supportive atmosphere that encourages everyone to grow together spiritually. In addition to study, creative activities like baking together become memorable experiences. Cooking as a group encourages teamwork and creates joyful moments that can be cherished for years. Sharing favorite recipes and creating new traditions add to the festive atmosphere. Pairing these with cozy movie nights offers a perfect balance of activity and relaxation. For those inclined toward creativity, breaks are also an ideal time to pursue personal projects, such as designing for a shop or planning new products. This not only enhances productivity during downtime but also keeps passions alive. Involving close friends or patrons can make the designing process collaborative and dynamic, leading to exciting, fresh outcomes—such as the new scripture writing plan for 2026 mentioned here, which is distinct and well-crafted compared to previous editions. Journaling is another valuable habit to maintain, especially amidst the relaxation of holiday periods. It aids in organizing thoughts, capturing gratitude, and reflecting on progress or challenges, making it a great complement to other spiritual and creative practices. The scriptures highlighted in the OCR content emphasize themes of redemption, faithfulness, and the folly of false idols, reminding us of the importance of obedience and trust in God’s promises. Integrating these messages into family time fosters a meaningful connection to faith traditions. Ultimately, a Thanksgiving break enriched with family study, creative endeavors, and moments of rest provides a holistic way to celebrate and prepare for the year ahead. It’s about balance—discovering joy in togetherness, creativity, and spiritual reflection to rejuvenate body and soul.
