... Read moreI've been absolutely obsessed with the Ahsoka series, and one of the coolest things to come out of it has to be the mysterious Night Troopers! Seriously, when I first saw them, my mind immediately went to 'Star Wars zombies.' And now, getting my hands on the Star Wars Black Series Night Trooper action figure, I can confirm it's even more epic in person. That black and red armor, the skull-like face – it just screams 'undead intimidating foe.' It's such a unique take on the classic stormtrooper design, a stark contrast to the usual white armour. For anyone wondering, 'are Night Troopers zombies?' it’s a question that’s been buzzing in the fan community! While they aren't your typical flesh-eating zombies, their reanimated nature thanks to the Dathomirian magick definitely gives them a zombie-like quality. These eerie, revived stormtroopers, serving Grand Admiral Thrawn, add such a dark, fascinating layer to the Star Wars universe. It’s a far cry from the pristine white armour we usually associate with Imperial forces, and that contrast makes them truly stand out. They're not just regular storm troopers; they're something far more ancient and sinister. The "zombie stormtrooper Ahsoka" connection is what makes these figures so sought after. The idea of storm troopers being brought back to life, even partially, by ancient spells is just chef's kiss for a Star Wars fan. It reminds me a bit of the 'Death Troopers' from Star Wars Legends, but this new canon take is just so visually striking. The details on this Black Series figure really capture that menacing vibe. If you're a collector, you know the feeling of finding that perfect piece. This Ahsoka zombie stormtrooper figure is definitely a highlight for my display.
