Good bye acidity 👋👋
Dealing with acidity and gas can be uncomfortable, but incorporating natural remedies into your daily routine can bring significant relief. One of my favorite methods is starting the day with warm lemon water—simply mix a few drops of fresh lemon juice into a glass of warm water and drink it in the morning. This not only helps balance stomach acid but also reduces bloating and improves digestion. However, it’s important to avoid lemon water if you have severe acidity or ulcers. Another remedy I often use is jeera (cumin) water. Boiling a teaspoon of cumin seeds in water for about five minutes and drinking it warm after meals can help reduce gas and soothe the stomach. Similar to cumin water, ginger tea made by boiling fresh ginger slices also supports digestion and reduces nausea. For quick relief from gas and stomach pain, asafoetida (hing) water can be effective. Adding a pinch of asafoetida to warm water and drinking it helps ease discomfort promptly. Additionally, drinking plain buttermilk (chaas) after meals cools the stomach and promotes digestion. In combination with these remedies, simple lifestyle tips like eating slowly, chewing food thoroughly, and avoiding spicy or oily foods can prevent the onset of acidity and gas. Integrating these natural solutions has personally helped me maintain a comfortable and healthy digestive system without relying heavily on medications. If symptoms persist, though, consulting a healthcare professional is advisable.
