Naga fire chevrons together
✨ The legend of the serpent chevron. ✨
Every year on the night of Lent, mysterious lights spring from the Mekong River.
Locals call it the "serpent chevron."
It is believed to be an offering to the Buddha of the Southern Naga.
A golden pink fireball, rising out of the water without a sound.
No smoke. No fuel whatsoever.
Scientists say it's caused by natural gas.
But Buddhists believe... a miracle of faith.
Whichever explanation is true - faith is still magnificent.
Because what you see with your eyes may not be as great as what you believe in your heart. 💫
