When I was a child, I was the oldest girl in my neighborhood. Normally this would make you kind of the boss, but to me, I saw it as they all were my younger siblings, so I had to make sure were all were ok. They would come to me with their personal issues and questions and I would answer them the best that I could. The older I have gotten the more I realize that I have never stepped out of that role.
