Yesterday was a rest day. Sometimes we have to listen to our body and give it the break it needs. Even Jesus took a day off.
I spent the whole day with my grandkids, watching them show off their dance moves, taking them out to lunch, and finishing the day with their favorite ice cream. Those simple moments are worth more than money can buy.
The yelling, the crying, the arguing, and all the noise, that’s all part of the blessing. One day the house gets quiet, and you’ll wish you could hear those little voices one more time.
Life moves fast. Kids grow up fast. Don’t wait for the perfect time. Make the time. Put down the phone, step away from work, and create memories. Laugh with them, play with them, and enjoy every moment.
Family is one of God’s greatest gifts. Hold them close, love them hard, and make memories while you can. Time flies by way too quick.
