Abandoned school
The first school I went to became abandoned many years ago. The history is absolutely disturbing. It kept burning down and being rebuilt and it has continued doing this for over 100 years. This building is a cliche New England styled k-12 school. It’s massive. I remember the cafeteria and even after all these years I remember choking on that piece of bolognese. I remember art class. I remember waiting on line to get my foot and my hair was so long it would slap the boy behind me in line over and over. I remember when everybody got the chicken pox. These classrooms have so much memory to them. I learned to cross stitch for Mother’s Day, making a pink tulip and looking out the window at the morning sun hitting the trees and the trees swaying because of the morning wind. I won’t ever forget this place and I’m so thankful for the county to allow me to go inside 🤍☁️🤍
