I struggle to find the words with how much I fell in love with this book and its characters. Rarely have I been so gripped by a book from page one. This journey that Areya takes had me in tears, her losses so profound, her self acceptance and finding who she is and that strength she didn’t know she had, her path to fated love, the quite moments of laughter she experiences despite the darkness. Cosette Verga has created a worlds beyond worlds so completely and complex it’s hard to remember that it’s not real. She artfully weaves the story of the present and past to create engaging storytelling in such a masterful way creating a consistence pace that keeps you on the edge of our seat from start to finish. This is book one of her series and I cannot wait to start book two. ❤️
