Fated Rebirth (Reno R. Mist)

Fated Rebirth

Reno R. Mist

This book is beautifully written in capturing a deliciously vengeful justice. I cannot speak for anyone else, but as a child of domestic violence from a very early age until I was 15, following our female main character down her path of vengeance gave a piece of my inner child a joy never to be obtain in the real world.

What would you do if you woke up one day with memories of another life? One in which violence was all you ever knew before being brutally murdered? What would you do if you had the opportunity to right those wrongs in your new life? We follow Violet into a world of vengeance, where nothing is as it seems. Rowan is our stoic, self appointed guardian full throttle into “touch her and you die”. Their dynamic is fun in their love to hate you banter, but equally beautiful in their softness together.

If seeing the bad guys get their comeuppance, a strong female lead and a slow burn romance is your thing then I highly recommend this novel by Reno R. Mist.

Having followed similar stories of personal growth through adversity, I found Violet's journey particularly resonant. The vivid portrayal of her memories from a past life filled with violence to her quest for justice in the present adds emotional depth to the narrative. The dynamic between Violet and Rowan, marked by protective instincts and tender moments beneath their rough exteriors, creates a compelling emotional push and pull that kept me engaged throughout. The author’s ability to weave together elements of dark fantasy with real-world issues like domestic violence, trafficking, and abuse highlights the complexity of healing and revenge. While the triggers may not be for everyone, they are handled with a raw honesty that lends authenticity to Violet’s path. This combination of harsh realities and fantastical elements makes the novel more than just a romance; it’s a story about reclaiming power and finding hope amid darkness. One aspect that stood out to me was how the novel explores the concept of rebirth—not just in the supernatural sense, but emotionally and psychologically. It is a reminder that even after severe trauma, there can be a chance to rewrite one’s story and find strength in vulnerability. For readers interested in a slow-burning romance that balances intense action and heartfelt character development, this book delivers beautifully. For anyone who appreciates narratives that confront difficult themes head-on while delivering satisfying justice to antagonists, Fated Rebirth serves as a cathartic and emotionally enriching experience. The use of phrases like "He She is salvation his ruin" from the novel's imagery effectively captures this duality of destruction and salvation that drives the story’s core.
