Another point worth mentioning is the abrupt ending. While it does close the main narrative arcs, it leaves readers wishing for a glimpse into the characters’ futures—a short epilogue or a 'few years later' scenario would have been so rewarding to see how the characters heal and grow from their experiences. From my perspective, this addition could bring more closure and satisfaction. In summary, if you enjoy fast, action-packed stories balanced with intriguing character perspectives, especially those from the antagonist’s point-of-view, Dark Angel is a great pick. It has an intense, immersive feel despite its short length and hints at a rich world of complex emotions and relationships that could be beautifully expanded in a sequel or extended version.
