Christ is Lord

Sometimes, when I ponder the idea of God knowing me even 'before I was in my mother's womb,' it brings both comfort and a touch of awe. It makes me wonder, what are these plans He has for me? This is where diving into passages like Jeremiah 29 truly resonates with my soul. It’s so easy to feel lost or question our path, especially when life throws unexpected challenges our way. But Jeremiah 29 offers such a powerful reassurance that we are not forgotten or left to navigate life alone. Reading Jeremiah 29:11 often feels like a warm embrace: “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” This verse isn't just a historical message to exiles; it's a timeless promise for each of us. It speaks directly to that deep yearning to understand our purpose, to know that there's a divine design woven into our existence. It reminds me that even in moments of 'captivity,' whether physical or spiritual, God is actively working behind the scenes for our ultimate good. What truly struck me, though, is the condition that often accompanies this promise: “If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me.” (Jeremiah 29:13).
