Dire Crowley and Fellow Honest = Yes 🤌

Oh my goodness, you guys! I'm so incredibly excited because the first batch of pieces for my Dire Crowley and Fellow Honest cosplays from Twisted Wonderland just arrived, and I couldn't wait to share! As the image says, I'm 'teasing two in-progress TWST cosplays' and it's all starting now! I decided to order from DangerousLadies after seeing so many amazing reviews in the cosplay community. Their reputation for high-quality prop kits and intricate details is just unmatched, especially for complex designs like those from Twisted Wonderland. I spent ages looking at different vendors, but their craftsmanship really stood out. For characters like Dire Crowley, with his signature mask and ornate accessories, and Fellow Honest, whose details need to be spot-on, I knew I needed parts that would provide a fantastic base. These pieces are exactly what I hoped for – the resin casts are incredibly clean, which means less grueling prep work for me! Now comes the fun (and sometimes challenging!) part: sanding, priming, and painting! For anyone who's ever worked with raw resin casts, you know it's a labor of love. My plan for Dire Crowley's mask involves a super smooth finish, almost like polished stone, so I'll be starting with a fine-grit sandpaper, gradually moving to incredibly fine grits to get that perfect surface. Then, it's onto multiple layers of primer to ensure the paint adheres perfectly and looks flawless. I’m imagining a deep, rich black with metallic accents for Crowley, really capturing his imposing yet theatrical presence. And for Fellow Honest, I'm thinking about how to bring out the subtle textures that make his costume so unique. It’s all about bringing that Twisted Wonderland magic and imagination to life! One of the things I love most about cosplay is the journey from raw materials to a finished character. It's not just about wearing a costume; it's about embodying the spirit, the 'magic' if you will, of characters like Dire Crowley and Fellow Honest. For Fellow Honest, I adore the concept of justice and honesty, and I want that to shine through every detail of the costume.
