Sharing our paint codes and laminates!

I thought I'd compile the various paint, laminate and tile codes in this post. We generally kept it quite similar across the home for a more consistent look.

Disclaimer: every colour and material selection will look different in different homes, depending on your external environment in which light bounces off, and your light fixtures too. We are using 3k warm white lighting through the house with CRI of 90 too.

Hope this helps!

... Read moreIf you're considering adopting Japandi style in your home, using consistent paint codes and laminates is a game-changer for creating style harmony. We loved using Nippon's Lightwings paint paired with salt microcement and laminate choices like Ibiza Nogal to bring warmth and texture without overwhelming the space. One thing to keep in mind is lighting: our home uses 3000K warm white bulbs with a CRI of 90, which really helps these colors shine naturally. Depending on your home's natural light and fixture styles, colors can shift — so always test samples on your walls and surfaces before committing. For floors, the pure oak blush laminate from Floorxpert and Hafary's 60BK02RD tile added subtle contrast while keeping the palette neutral and relaxing. You might find that these materials also adapt well over time as you add furnishings or seasonal décor. Beyond paint and laminates, quality and finish matter too: choosing microcement with soft textures like salt microcement adds an organic feel that's perfectly suited for minimalism and Japandi vibes. When you combine these elements thoughtfully, you get a cohesive, inviting atmosphere that's timeless. Sharing our experience, we hope these specific brands and color codes give you a great starting point. Personalize as you go, but maintaining consistency can make decorating simpler and results more elegant!
