top books i’ve read so far this year and why i loved them!
i typically gravitate toward thrillers/mysteries. i’ve recently gotten into horror and splatterpunk books (gone to see the river man falling into those categories). that being said, i wouldn’t recommend that book to anyone who is not experienced in horror. i also wouldn’t recommend it to anyone with a lot of triggers, as it deals with sensitive topics that i even had a difficult time reading about.
