This was taken 5 days before my son was taken away from me for false abuse allegations. My ex ran to our sons pediatrician, made a false report, dcf investigated it but wouldn’t support the allegations. The judge heard both sides & ever since I’ve had supervised visits. My second trial is in August. I just want my baby home. #onthisday #boymom
Dealing with false abuse allegations is one of the most heart-wrenching experiences a parent can face. From my perspective, the moment my ex made a false report to our son’s pediatrician, everything changed. Even though the Department of Children and Families (DCF) investigated and found no support for the allegations, the court decision mandated supervised visits only. The emotional toll during this time is immense — feeling deprived of my child without cause creates a constant ache. One technique I found helpful in managing emotional and sensory overload, for both myself and my son during visits, is using water therapy. This therapy can be very calming in situations of overstimulation or dysregulation, providing a needed sensory break during stressful moments. Simple calming routines like this have offered a small but valuable grounding effect. Preparing for the upcoming second trial this August, I focus on gathering every piece of evidence and support to prove the truth. It’s important to stay strong and maintain hope despite these challenges because the ultimate goal is to bring my baby home safely. Sharing this journey is part of my healing process and a way to support other parents who may face similar unjust circumstances. Remember, if you or someone you know is navigating child custody disputes with false allegations, seek legal guidance and emotional support. You are not alone, and there are resources to help protect your parental rights and well-being during these difficult times.
