This year’s theme, “Labels,” reminded us that the only name that truly defines us is the one given by Christ.
Three students surrendered their lives to Jesus. 🙌
So many more are taking next steps toward baptism and discipleship.
And as if that wasn’t enough… Pastor Calvin had the incredible honor of baptizing his own brother and daughter. 💙 What a picture of God’s faithfulness across generations.

Attending DNOW 2026 was a profound experience that truly highlighted the powerful message of identity in Christ. The theme "Labels" challenged us to look beyond the names or titles society puts on us and embrace our new identity as defined by Jesus, drawing inspiration from 2 Corinthians 5:17, which speaks of becoming a new creation. One of the most memorable moments was seeing the genuine faith decisions made by students—three surrendered their lives to Jesus, and many others took important steps toward baptism and discipleship. It reminded me how impactful a supportive community and guided spiritual experiences can be in nurturing one’s faith journey. The visual of Pastor Calvin baptizing his own brother and daughter was particularly moving, illustrating how faith and God’s faithfulness ripple through generations. It serves as a beautiful reminder that spiritual growth is not just personal but also shared within families and communities. The weekend was also a testament to the incredible teamwork behind the scenes—from Bible study leaders and breakout speakers to worship teams and host homes. Such collaboration creates a safe and encouraging environment for meaningful life change. Reflecting on the worship led by Port City Worship and the impactful messages from speakers like Derek Griffon, I realized how vital authentic worship and teaching are to deeply connect with God’s word and feel His presence.
