My DTIYS entry🌸

Hey everyone! I just wanted to share a bit more about my journey with DTIYS challenges, especially after completing my entry for @rabiscailha's 100-follower milestone. For this particular challenge, the original design by @rabiscailha was so enchanting! I was immediately drawn to the idea of interpreting a character with long pink hair, serene blue eyes, and that ethereal halo. When I started my digital drawing, I really focused on bringing out that angelic vibe, adding details like the angel wings and the delicate pink and white corset dress. It's always exciting to see how different artists interpret the same concept, and that's truly the magic of DTIYS. Participating in challenges like #rabiscailha100dtiys offers so many benefits. First, it's a wonderful way to discover new artists and connect with a supportive community. It's also an excellent practice for developing your own unique art style. For me, it was a great opportunity to explore new shading techniques for the pink hair and experiment with different brush textures for the wings. Embrace your unique artistic voice, whether that means using different line work, color palettes, or even altering the pose slightly to fit your aesthetic. Experiment with new techniques: DTIYS is a safe space to try something new. Maybe you want to practice digital painting, or perhaps you're exploring a new way to render fabrics like the corset top. This challenge gave me a chance to refine my approach to glowing elements, like the halo. Share and engage: Once your dtiys art is done, share it! Tag the original artist, use the challenge hashtags (like #dtiys and the specific challenge tag), and engage with other participants. It's a fantastic way to get feedback and grow as an artist. Creating digital art for DTIYS also lets you experiment with different software and tools.
