"People who are not sincere" know how to speak more pleasantly than to speak the truth. These people may say what the other person wants to hear, not what they should know, create an image that is too good to look reliable, use sweet words, speak well, be persuasive, make them look confident, trustworthy.
On the contrary, "sincere people" who tend to speak directly, to speak truthfully, even when listening may not be comfortable, not good at creating images, not flattering, to show straightforward good intentions, which people sometimes may not like.
People often choose "comfort" rather than "sincerity" because some truths hurt... but pleasant false words are easier to listen to.
But finally... sincerity will always outlive fancy words, even if it does not win anyone's heart easily, but will win the heart of a really "worthy" person in the long run, which takes time as proof...
