「糸島 食パン chigaya」で探して行くなら、私が行ってよかったポイントを補足します。 まず場所の雰囲気。高台にあるので、店内の窓辺席から海を見下ろせてかなり開放感があります。白い壁や白いテーブルを基調に、ドライフラワーやマクラメの装飾があって、写真を撮る手が止まりませんでした。天気がいい日は光が入りやすいので、窓際は特に人気。絶景席を狙うなら、オープン直後か、逆にランチが落ち着いた時間帯が取りやすい印象です。 次にメニュー選び。名物はやっぱりストロベリートースト。食パンのベースをプレーン／あずき／チーズから選べて、さらに「トーストするかどうか」も選択できます。私は閉店前寄りでプレーンが売り切れていたのであずきを選びましたが、いちごとクリームの甘さに、あずきの風味が意外と合って大当たりでした。サクッとした食感が好きならトースト有りがおすすめ。しっとり派ならトースト無しも一度試してみる価値ありです。 売り切れ対策も大事。遅い時間だとベースの食パンが選べないことがあるので、「この味が食べたい！」が決まっている人は早めの来店が安心です。逆に、残っている種類から選ぶのも“その日限定感”があって楽しかったです。 最後に駐車場。駐車場はありますが、駐車券を持参すると割引がある一方、忘れると追加料金がかかるので要注意。車で行く人は、入店前に駐車券を財布やスマホケースに入れておくと安心でした。 糸島ドライブの途中で「景色もパンも両方楽しみたい」日にぴったりのCHIGAYA bread & cafe。次は窓辺のベスト席で、違う食パンベースも食べ比べしたいです。
