Attending the Cardiac Connections support group has truly been a transformative experience for me and many others living with heart disease. As someone navigating the challenges of heart failure, finding a community where I can be completely honest about my struggles without feeling the pressure to stay upbeat all the time has been invaluable. This group is especially meaningful because it caters specifically to Christian women, blending faith with healing and encouragement. It’s refreshing to join a virtual meeting where everyone understands the unique emotional and physical toll that heart disease can take, and where we can simply be ourselves—no need to sugarcoat or explain our pain. The facilitator, Tiara Johnson, does an amazing job of creating a warm and welcoming environment that lets you feel safe and supported. Whether you’re living with an LVAD, have undergone a heart transplant, or are coping with heart failure, the Cardiac Connections group offers a platform for sharing experiences, asking questions, and receiving spiritual and emotional support. I highly recommend attending if you missed the previous sessions, as each meeting feels like a blessing. The group not only helps alleviate feelings of isolation but also empowers us with hope and renewed strength through shared faith and understanding.
