Bubble fairy
I got told on here that one of my paintings isn’t realistic for body anatomy, but the thing is, yes it is, everyone has different body shapes and some are rare some aren’t, just cuz your body doesn’t look like that doesn’t mean someone else’s doesn’t. I paint all shapes and sizes, hate all you want but I’m going to keep doing me 🥰 I love my art and that’s what matters #bodypositiveart #strugglingartist #sharingmyart #artofselflove
As someone who appreciates art that speaks to individuality, I truly admire the courage it takes to portray diverse body types authentically. Many artists face criticism when their work doesn't fit conventional standards of realism, but it's important to remember that beauty and anatomy are not one-size-fits-all. I've personally found that exploring body positivity through art expands both the artist's and viewer's perspectives, encouraging us to celebrate uniqueness rather than conformity. Painting a wide range of body shapes not only challenges artistic norms but also promotes inclusion. For instance, some body features that might seem uncommon or 'rare' in mainstream media are actually part of real human variety. Celebrating these aspects in artwork fosters a healthier self-image and supports the art of self-love. From my experience, engaging with body-positive art communities offers empowering support. Sharing personal art creations that highlight diverse anatomies can be a form of resistance against unrealistic beauty ideals and help others feel seen. It's rewarding to realize that art can be a platform for struggling artists to express themselves authentically while inspiring discussions around acceptance and empathy. In summary, embracing body diversity in art enriches both creative expression and societal attitudes. By continuing to create and share art that reflects all body types, we contribute to a more inclusive and supportive artistic landscape. The passion behind such work, as expressed in the original post, resonates deeply with those who value genuine representation and self-love through creativity.
