Happy earth day 🌎

Observing local nature, such as wildflowers like English daisies, green alkanet, and wild irises, offers a peaceful way to celebrate the environment. In my experience, exploring nearby parks or forests can reveal wonderful sights like painted lady butterflies and even rare jungle cats if you are lucky. One of my favorite ways to honor Earth Day is by combining nature walks with bird photography. It requires patience and attention — emotions I often find refreshing and grounding. Capturing wild birds on camera not only brings joy but also sparks greater awareness about the importance of conserving their habitats. Including pets in Earth Day activities adds a heartwarming touch. Senior dogs especially benefit from gentle outings amidst wildflowers and fresh air, which seem to rejuvenate their spirits. They remind us to cherish quiet moments with nature and the simple pleasures it provides.
