Four signs your dog is unhealthy, follow for more daily tips.
As a dedicated dog owner, I’ve found that paying attention to subtle changes in your dog’s behavior and appearance can make a huge difference in catching health issues early. One of the most common signs of an unhealthy dog is a sudden change in appetite — if your dog stops eating or seems disinterested in food, it's a red flag worth checking out. Another indicator to watch for is a change in energy levels. Dogs that normally are playful but become lethargic or less responsive may be struggling with underlying health problems. Also, keep a close eye on their coat and skin condition; dull, patchy, or flaky fur isn’t normal and can suggest nutritional deficiencies or infections. Finally, don’t overlook changes in bathroom habits. Excessive vomiting, diarrhea, or changes in urination patterns can signify various health issues ranging from infections to serious organ problems. In addition to these signs, I recommend regular vet check-ups to catch anything you might miss and keeping your dog’s vaccinations, diet, and exercise routine consistent. Incorporating these daily health checks will help you be proactive about your dog’s well-being and provide them with a longer, happier life.
