Do These 5 Things Daily To Clear Your Mind🧘‍♀️🧠

In the hustle and bustle of things we all crave one thing: clarity + peace. It’s easy to get lost in your everyday activities and be stuck in constant flight and fight mode but what if I told you there’s a few ways that you can bring yourself back to the present with a clear mind? 😇

Here’s 5 practices that you can do daily for a clear + focused mindset:

1) Connect with nature

Nature is our best healer, whenever you have an opportunity to be outside- do it! Whether it’s for a workout or to listen to a podcast, immerse and connect with nature. Nature is the best place to be aware and present- there’s always something bigger than us happening such a birds building a nest, ants carrying their food, or trees absorbing the sunlight with you.

2) Mindful conversations & mindful eating

Mindfulness = presence. If our mind is running a million miles per hour, that’s usually because it’s either living in the past or future. If you find a way to bring yourself back to the present moment, you’ll quickly notice how your mind starts to slow down and become more clear on what’s happening in the here and now. Being mindful in both eating and conversation is a fabulous way to remind our mind + body to be present.

3) Reflect

Reflect on what the day has given you or what it will give you. Reflection can happen casually in your head while you’re stuck in traffic, while journaling or when you’re in flow in a workout or meditation. Reflecting is a great way to practice presence, mindfulness and gratitude which leads me to my next point. ⬇️

4) Give gratitude

Expressing gratitude is a quick reminder of all the joyous things you have in life- even the small things. Our mind works much better on positive vibes than negative vibes, so try to live off that vibration as much as possible!

5) Digital detox

Take a break from screens and do something you LOVE! This can be reading, painting, surfing, photography or even joining a team to play soccer weekly! Whatever makes your heart soar- do it more!!

Hope this helps you as much as it did for me. 💌

... Read moreHey everyone! You know that feeling when your brain just won't switch off, and you're constantly juggling a million thoughts? I've totally been there. Finding ways to clear my mind has been a game-changer for my daily peace, and I wanted to share a bit more about how I make these practices truly stick. When it comes to connecting with nature, it’s more than just being outdoors. For me, it's about intentional engagement. I try to make my morning coffee on the balcony and just listen to the birds for five minutes, or really feel the sun on my skin during a walk. Even if it's just a quick stroll around the block, I try to notice the tiny details – a flower blooming, the texture of a tree bark, or how the clouds are moving. It grounds me instantly, reminding me there’s a whole beautiful world beyond my to-do list. Mindful eating & conversations can feel tricky in our fast-paced lives, but they're so powerful. For eating, I've started putting my fork down between bites and really savoring each flavor. It’s amazing how much more enjoyable a meal becomes when you’re not rushing. And conversations? I try to make eye contact and truly listen without planning my response. It builds deeper connections and makes my interactions feel more meaningful, ultimately helping to clear my mind of distractions. Reflection can be a powerful tool for clarity. Beyond just thinking, I've found a simple gratitude journal invaluable. Before bed, I jot down three things that went well or made me smile. Sometimes, I use prompts like, "What challenged me today, and what did I learn?" or "What am I looking forward to tomorrow?" This structured reflection helps me process the day, acknowledge my growth, and let go of worries, preventing them from swirling in my head. Speaking of gratitude, actively expressing it has a huge impact. It's not just about feeling thankful, but voicing it. I try to send a quick text to someone who helped me, or simply say "thank you" more often throughout my day. It shifts my perspective from what's lacking to what's abundant, creating a positive mental space. Finally, the digital detox is crucial. I used to feel tethered to my phone, but now I schedule "no-phone zones" – like during meals or the hour before bed. Instead, I pick up a physical book, try a new painting technique, or even just sit quietly. This break from endless scrolling and notifications truly helps reset my brain and gives it space to breathe. It’s like hitting a refresh button for my thoughts! Beyond these five, I’ve also found that deep breathing exercises are my secret weapon for immediate mental clarity. When I feel overwhelmed, taking five slow, deep breaths, focusing purely on the sensation of air entering and leaving my body, can instantly calm my nervous system and bring me back to the present. Implementing these "things to clear your mind" doesn't have to be perfect every day, but even small, consistent efforts make a huge difference. I hope these extra tips inspire you to find your own path to a calmer, more focused mindset! What are your favorite ways to find clarity? I’d love to hear them!
