When I first caught this mischievous little Dark/Fairy type, I knew I had to get its powerful final form, Grimmsnarl. It took a bit of grinding, but I finally figured out the best way to get all the candy needed. First off, let's talk about the Impidimp evolution line. It's a two-stage evolution: Impidimp evolves into Morgrem, and then Morgrem evolves into the mighty Grimmsnarl. Each stage requires a specific amount of Impidimp Candy, so stocking up is key! To evolve your Impidimp into Morgrem, you'll need 25 Impidimp Candy. This isn't too bad, especially if you're out catching a few Impidimp during events. My strategy was to use Pinap Berries every time I encountered an Impidimp – those extra candies really add up! Speaking of which, I always make sure to have a good stock of Pinap Berries on hand (just like my screenshot shows I had plenty!). Remember, a successful catch with a Pinap Berry doubles the candy you receive, turning a standard 3 candies into 6! This little trick is a game-changer when you're focusing on a specific evolution. Once you have your Morgrem, the next step to get Grimmsnarl is a bit more demanding: you'll need 100 Impidimp Candy. This is where patience comes in! I found that focusing on catching every Impidimp I saw, using Pinap Berries, and even setting an Impidimp as my buddy Pokémon to earn candy by walking, really helped speed things up. Walking with your buddy Pokémon is a steady way to earn candy, especially for rarer Pokémon or when you're not seeing many in the wild. Don't forget that trading Pokémon can also sometimes give you extra candy, particularly if the Pokémon was caught far away from your trading partner! I was so thrilled when I finally accumulated enough to register Grimmsnarl to my Pokedex. The satisfaction of seeing 'NEW POKEMON REGISTERED TO POKEDEX' was awesome! Grimmsnarl is totally worth the effort, by the way. Its unique Dark/Fairy typing makes it a fantastic choice for both raids and PvP battles. It has some great matchups, especially against Dragon, Fighting, and Psychic types, while resisting Ghost and Dark attacks. Plus, it just looks super cool and menacing! After evolving, don't forget to 'POWER UP' your new Grimmsnarl to get it ready for action. Maxing out its CP and improving its stats will make it a formidable opponent in any battle scenario. Also, keep an eye out for special events that might feature Impidimp, as these are prime opportunities to gather lots of candy quickly.
