Hair Donation
It was nearly four years ago.
It was damaged, but I cut it by 50 cm
It all started when I saw a TV show on the necessity of human hair wigs.
I didn't plan to grow it this far, but I didn't know that having hair was so grateful after hearing stories of children who lost their hair due to childhood cancer and people with hair loss
It had become normal to have
Then, I stretched it for another 4 years and cut it 50 cm again
My heavy hair has become lighter, and at the same time, I feel like saying goodbye to this hair as a part of the wig
ヘアドネーションは、ただ髪を寄付するだけでなく、そこに込められた思いや支援の輪が広がる素敵な活動です。私も伸ばすのが大変でしたが、ウィッグを必要とする子どもたちの話を聞くたびに、髪を提供できることの喜びや感謝の気持ちが湧いてきました。 髪を寄付するには、一定の長さが必要とされることが多いので、健康で傷んでいない状態を維持するために日々のケアも欠かせません。私はダメージを受けていると感じても諦めずに、トリートメントやブラッシングを丁寧に行い、切る直前まで大事に育てました。 また、ヘアドネーションを通して自分の髪が誰かの笑顔に繋がるという実感は何物にも代えがたいです。髪を軽くすることも同時に感じられ、体も気分も軽やかになりました。 髪があることを当たり前に思っていた私にとって、ヘアドネーションは髪のありがたみを再認識する機会となりました。髪の寄付を検討中の方には、ぜひ自分なりのペースで伸ばしながら、ウィッグを必要とする方々のために届ける精神も楽しんでほしいと思います。
