When I first started sketching out ideas for the Roblox-style character, the phrase "Swell day for building!" popped into my head, perfectly encapsulating that optimistic, creative vibe. It's all about capturing a mood, whether it's a stern-looking humanoid or a mischievous, duck-like character with reflective sunglasses and a skateboard. Developing these OCs is a process of imagining their personalities and quirks, which then translates into their visual design and even their accessories. For instance, the pink, fox-like creature giving a thumbs-up – what kind of adventures does it have? What makes it so cheerful? My artistic process usually starts with a loose concept or a game element that catches my eye. Then, it's about experimenting with shapes and colors digitally to see what sticks. I often find myself drawn to playful themes, incorporating elements like those large yellow smiley face spheres and sparkling trails you might see in my work. It’s a constant dance between structure and spontaneity. Sometimes, a subtle detail, like the word "BUGAPALOOZA" hidden in a background, becomes a personal signature, adding a layer of fun for those who notice it.
