Bible study + letter to the Lord
I’m currently reading 1 Thessalonanians. I haven’t been as close to god as I was before my break up of a term relationship and my sister passing a few months before. I am refocusing and reading my bible again , writing my daily letter to the Lord & doing bible study alone , i’m back going to youth group at my church and surrounding myself with Jesus. Sometimes you have to take a step back to appreciate your relationship and faith in Jesus. #catholicgirly #church #i love reading my bible
In today’s fast-paced world, it's easy to lose sight of our spiritual journeys, especially after personal hardships like relationship breakups or the loss of loved ones. Engaging in Bible study is a profound way to reconnect with God and reflect on essential life lessons. Many find comfort and guidance in scripture, allowing words of wisdom to not only uplift but also to provide clarity on emotional struggles. Writing daily letters to the Lord serves as a therapeutic practice. This allows individuals to express their thoughts, feelings, and prayers, fostering a deeper dialogue with God. Such letters can bridge feelings of isolation, helping one to feel connected spiritually even during hard times. Rejoining community activities like youth groups or church gatherings further enriches the experience. Fellowship provides support, encouragement, and shared faith experiences. In essence, this multi-faceted approach of studying the Bible, journaling, and community involvement illuminates the path back to a fulfilling relationship with Jesus. It's never too late to reignite one’s spiritual journey and appreciate the steadfast love and support that faith offers.
