2. When they’re circling the drain:

3. When it’s a fantasy novel, not a meeting:
“Let’s take this offline once we have data. For now, next steps are: [Name] does [task] by [date]. Sound good?”
Always summarize in real-time. “I’ve noted your feedback in the doc!” then redirect. How do you handle meeting tangents?

This not only keeps the meeting on track but also provides clarity on the next steps, ensuring that team members leave with a clear understanding of their responsibilities.
