Morning Routine to Reduce Bloating

Here’s my 4 - step morning routine for reducing bloating and improving digestion throughout the day.

Step 1: Abdominal Massage

For this abdominal massage, I use coconut oil and apply it all over my stomach. First, I massage the lower area near my pelvis 10 times. Then, I do circular clockwise massages around my belly button 10 times. After that, I switch directions and do counter - clockwise massages 10 times. Finally, I move my hands down from my ribs to my hips, doing 10 strokes on the left side and then 10 on the right. Lastly, I use my fists to massage down both sides at the same time, 10 times.

Step 2: Drink Pyrutea Tea

Right after the massage, this is the first thing I drink! Pyrutea Tea, with ingredients like Cassia seed, winter melon, and lotus leaves, works wonders for my bloating in the morning. It’s a total “game - changer”. Plus, it supports liver health, eases eye fatigue from screen time, and kick - starts the natural detox process.

Step 3: Morning Walk

Next, I go for a morning walk. Depending on how much time I have, the walk can last anywhere from 20 to 60 minutes.

Step 4: Healthy Breakfast

After the walk, I head home and have a healthy breakfast. I aim to get 30 - 40 grams of protein for breakfast and eat whole, nutrient - dense foods.

First, consider the benefits of adequate hydration: drinking water first thing in the morning can kickstart your metabolism and maintain digestive health. Adding lemon to your water can also provide vitamin C and aid digestion. Additionally, a balanced breakfast plays a crucial role. Opt for fiber-rich foods such as oats, fruits, or smoothies that include ingredients like spinach or banana. These foods not only promote gut health but also help in reducing bloating by allowing for smoother digestion. Don't underestimate the power of mindfulness; taking time during your morning to engage in deep breathing or a short meditation can help reduce stress, which is often a significant contributor to digestive issues. Stress management can be effectively enhanced by practices like yoga or even simple stretching before your breakfast. Lastly, keeping a journal to track how different foods affect your bloating can provide valuable insights into your body's responses. This can be beneficial in identifying specific triggers and refining your diet even further. With consistency, these strategies can help create a robust morning routine focused on reducing bloating and promoting a healthier gut.
