5 sunday routines that make my whole week easier 🧺🍋

happy almost-sunday-reset day! here are 5 sunday routines that make the rest of my week go smoothly.

1 - fill up my tank: i drive a lot for work during the week, so this saves me from having to get gas on monday morning! definitely my most expensive chore though 😔😔

2 - make time for a creative hobby: this helps me stop scrolling endlessly and focus that energy into something creative and relaxing. i’ve been loving cross stitch and origami lately!

3 - wash sheets and towels (and the rest of my laundry): this makes me feel so fresh and clean when i head to bed. it definitely helps me feel like the week gets a fresh start.

4 - dust and clean my desk and all surfaces: this ensures my getting-area and workspace is all clean and reset for monday. it also helps it stay clean throughout the week.

5 - lay out all my products and clothes the night before: i do this every night because i am not a morning person!!! this saves me so much time in the morning from having to pick an outfit and makeup as soon as i wake up.

let me know what your sunday routine looks like! what should i add to mine?

... Read moreIn addition to the five Sunday routines shared, I’ve found that incorporating meal prep into my Sunday rituals has made a significant difference in my week. Taking just an hour to prepare lunches or dinners ahead of time saves so much stress during busy weekdays. Also, spending a few minutes planning my weekly schedule helps me feel more in control and clear on priorities. Filling up the gas tank on Sunday evening, as mentioned, definitely saves a lot of hassle on Monday mornings. It’s a simple chore but sets a practical tone for the week. Another tip is to invest time in tidying digital spaces like your email inbox and phone apps on Sunday. Decluttering digitally can feel just as refreshing as physical cleaning. Engaging in a creative hobby like cross stitch or origami is a fantastic way to unwind and disconnect from screens, which really helps recharge my mental energy. I also recommend picking hobbies that encourage mindfulness, such as journaling or sketching. Washing sheets and towels weekly creates that fresh, clean feeling that’s so comforting going into a new week. It’s also an excellent trigger for self-care, reminding you to rest well. Lastly, laying out clothes and products for the next day is a game changer for slow morning risers or anyone who wants to reduce decision fatigue. This thoughtful preparation helps ease anxiety and creates a calm morning routine. Overall, Sunday routines that blend household tasks, creative time, and preparation rituals not only streamline the upcoming week but also promote wellbeing. If you’re looking to adjust or add to your own list, consider these additions based on my personal experience—they really enhance the Sunday reset and set a positive tone for the entire week.
