Tbh, feeling quite depressed and lost recently.

Company has been cutting our profits and commissions a lot recently, a lot of people are still staying here only because of the flexibility in this job.

Almost threw a letter but logically I can’t due to bills etc.

I’m already in my late 20s, can’t use being young as an excuse anymore.

Have been on AL to clear my head and think about life in general. Only thing is clear is my goal to quit working for someone else. Once this account can secure me $5000 for at least 3 months I’ll tender my resignation.

From my experience, taking a step back to clear your mind—like going on annual leave—helps bring clarity to your goals and priorities. The job flexibility that initially seemed like a blessing can feel like a double-edged sword when financial stability is threatened. Setting a concrete financial target, such as securing a consistent $5000 monthly income for three months, is a realistic and motivating goal that can empower you to make life-changing decisions. Achieving this requires disciplined trading strategies, risk management, and a commitment to continuous learning. Tracking your progress daily in a journal not only keeps you accountable but also helps identify patterns in your performance. Facing the fear of quitting a steady job due to bills and responsibilities is common, but having a backup plan like a stable trading account reduces the anxiety significantly. It’s also important to connect with communities or forums where others share similar goals; their experiences can provide support and practical advice. For those feeling lost, remember that evaluating your current situation critically and planning gradual steps toward independence can transform uncertainty into opportunity. Persistence is key—balancing emotional health with financial discipline will pave the way to freedom from traditional employment.
