✨地球上で現実を感じない場所 -世界編 Part.14
Have you ever stumbled upon a place that made you question if you were still on Earth? I recently explored some incredible destinations as part of my 'World Edition' travels, and let me tell you, these spots truly make you feel like you've stepped into another dimension. They are the epitome of '地球上で現実を感じない場所' – places so surreal, they defy belief. First up, the Great Blue Hole in Belize. This giant marine sinkhole, part of the larger Belize Barrier Reef Reserve System, is absolutely mind-blowing, especially from above. When I saw aerial photos, I was skeptical, but experiencing it firsthand, even just snorkeling or diving near its edges, is something else. The sheer scale, the deep blue contrasting with the surrounding turquoise waters, and the thought of what lies beneath are just... unreal. It's a geological wonder that feels like a portal to another world. The marine life here is abundant and vibrant, making every moment feel like a discovery. It’s hard to put into words the feeling of humility and awe you get when you’re looking at something so ancient and immense. Then there's Sigiriya Rock in Sri Lanka, also known as Lion Rock. This ancient rock fortress is not just a historical site; it's a monumental natural wonder that literally rises out of the jungle. Climbing to the top, past the famous lion paws and ancient frescoes, felt like a pilgrimage to a forgotten kingdom. The panoramic views from the summit are breathtaking – lush green landscapes stretching to the horizon, making you feel like you're standing on top of the world. The engineering marvel of the ancient city built around it, with its sophisticated water gardens, makes the whole experience even more fantastical. It’s a place where history and nature converge in such a dramatic way that it’s almost cinematic. You can't help but feel a sense of grand adventure as you ascend this iconic landmark. And finally, a hidden gem that still gives me chills: Vila Franca do Campo in Portugal. This isn't just any island; it's a stunning volcanic islet off the coast of São Miguel in the Azores. From above, it looks like a perfect, natural swimming pool formed within a collapsed volcano crater. The crystal-clear waters, protected from the open ocean, create an incredibly serene and unique swimming experience. It’s a tranquil oasis, a tiny world unto itself, where you can swim and explore in conditions that feel utterly removed from everyday life. The rich biodiversity within its calm waters adds to the magic. It truly feels like nature’s secret hideaway, something out of a dream. These places, captured often in stunning 'World Edition' documentaries or travelogues, truly embody the spirit of adventure and wonder. They remind me that our planet is full of such incredible, '現実を感じない場所' – spots that challenge our perceptions and leave us speechless. If you're looking for destinations that promise not just a trip, but an otherworldly experience, these three should definitely be on your list. They offer a unique blend of natural beauty, historical intrigue, and moments that make you truly appreciate the wonders of our world.
