It reminds me a lot of the dramatic monasteries in Meteora, Greece, perched on their towering rock pillars, or the stunning natural beauty of Plitvice Lakes National Park in Croatia. Each of these sites, including the rolling hills of Val d'Orcia in Italy, offers a unique window into Europe's rich heritage and stunning landscapes. Pairing a visit to Mont Saint-Michel with other European gems like the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona or the majestic Dolomites in Italy, all accessible through a well-planned overseas car rental trip, creates an unforgettable itinerary.
